Park and The Asiansoul, or JYP for short, are a Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, recording director and reality TV judge. Park became famous as a singer after releasing his debut album in 1994, Blue City. In 1997, he became the founder and co-CEO of JYP Entertainment, one of the highest-earning entertainment companies in Korea. As the head of JYP Entertainment, Park has developed and managed several very successful K-pop artists including Rain, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, Got7, Day6, Twice, Stray Kids and Itzy, as well as the group. Mandopop Boy Story. and the J -pop group NiziU.
